Description

This trail branches left off the Tomyhoi Lake Trail approximately 2.5km from the trailhead. It then crosses avalanche slopes and climbs to a bench before reaching a junction. Here you can go up to the 1873m summit of the Butte or descend a steep switchback path, losing some 250 meters, to some campsites amongst the lakes and tarns that dot the meadow floor. Please protect this fragile area, camp only on bare ground, sedge or rock.

Features

This trail features flowers (Fireweed, Indian paintbrush, Purple aster and Western anemone), forests, lakes, meadows and views.
