Winter Cove Day Use Area Trailhead: (33 km from Saanich Hall, ferry required). Drive north from Victoria on highway 17 through Sidney to the end of the highway. Take the ferry to Saturna Island. Once on the island drive south along East Point Rd to a junction just before the general store. Here East Point Rd makes an abrupt left turn (with Narvaez Rd continuing straight). Turn left drive to the T intersection where Winter Cove Rd turns off to the west (left). Turn onto Winter Cover Rd and drive about 300m to the trailhead.
