Description

Walk down the fire road (aka Glendenning Trail) keeping to the road until you come to a sign indicating the Whittaker Trail (about 10 minutes down the road). The path goes straight up the southwest slope of the lower hump of the main peak of Mt Doug. It is a sandy trail and the sand is prone to slipping underfoot. The trail then continues down the other side to form a loop on the north side of the park.
