Wedgemont Lake Parking Lot Trailhead: (227 km from Saanich Hall, 2 km on logging roads, ferry required). Drive north from Victoria to the Departure Bay ferry terminal in Nanaimo and catch the ferry to Horseshoe Bay. Drive north on BC#99 for 114 km to the Wedgemont turnoff. Turn ? and continue for 2 km to the trailhead.

Description

This is a very steep trail, gaining over 1200 meters in only 6km. The lower trailbed varies from rocky to roots and requires careful footing when descending as the roots can be very slippery when wet.

There is a small shelter cabin at Wedgemont Lake.
