Wapta Falls Trailhead: (750 km from Saanich Hall, 2 km on logging roads, ferry required). This trailhead is not well signed when approaching from the east and is not accessible to west bound traffic. (When travelling west bound drive 3km past the trailhead to the park"s west entrance, turn around and return to the trailhead).
Follow CA#1 east from Golden to the Wapta Falls access road which is 5 km east of the Yoho Park entrance (25 km west of Field). Follow this dirt road to the end where the trail begins.
Facilities available at the trailhead include:

When cross-country skiing this trail it is necessary to ski the 1.6km access road to access the hiking trail.
