Deadhorse Creek Road Trailhead: Update: July 2007: A washout in 2006 on Deadhorse Creek Road affects access to this trail.
Drive east from Glacier on WA#542 and turn right on Glacier Creek Road (#39). After only 100 meters turn left onto Deadhorse Creek Road (#37). Follow this for about 21 km to a parking area.

Description
The trail switchbacks through the forest and reaches the open alpine at an elevation of 1775 m after about an hours hike. You can continue east or west along the ridge. To the east is a knoll (elevation 1875 m) from which superb views of Mt Baker and Mt Shuskan can be had.
