Harbour View Road (Sooke) Trailhead: (34 km from Saanich Hall). Take highway 1 west from Victoria to the Colwood exit. Follow Sooke Road to Harbour View Road. Turn right on Harbour View and follow to a parking area.

Description

Originally this lake was meant to be named Sheila's Lake, after David Anderson's mother, Sheila. But the cartographers misread the writing, mistaking "a" for "d" .
