Description

The trailbed for the trail to San Joseph Bay is packed, crushed gravel making the trail accessible for BOB style strollers and wheelchairs. The sand is soft so take that into consideration when planning a trip with either of the above.

Features

This trail features animals (Black bear), beaches, birds (Bald Eagle) and forests.

Water

Water is only available from the 2nd beach. This beach can be accessed by a very rough and hazardous overland trail or by beach at low tide. Depending on the level of the tides you might have about 45 minutes to get round the point, collect the water and return. Note that storms could make the beach route inaccessible.
