Description

There are a number of trails in Rathtrevor Provincial Park. They can be linked by walking the roads in the campsite. A number of trails access the beach including a long trail on the edge of the forest. Another trail in the interior of the park loops around a heritage farm. All trails provide excellent bird watching opportunities for those so inclined.

This trail features activities (Swimming (more wading than swimming)), beaches, birds (American Crow, Bald Eagle, Brant Geese, Common Raven, Downy Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, Rufus Hummingbiard, Townsend's Warbler, White-crowned Sparrow), forests (Arbutus, Douglas-fir and Garry oak), geographical (Beaches), miscellaneous (Picnic area, Views), swimming and views.

Water

Water is available at many locatons in the campground as well as in the picnic area.
