Goldstream Trailhead: (16 km from Saanich Hall). Drive west from Victoria on Highway #1 to Goldstream park. Park in the main parking lot. (A $3 parking fee is charged.)

Dayhike	2 boot (moderate).	3 hours round trip.	Suitable all year.

Description

Walk east across the bridge on Finlayson Arm Road, the trail begins on your right a short distance after the bridge. Take the stairs up and continue along taking the first fork to your left (up). Continue to a rock wash and head up the wash (again to your left).

In 2003 development of a golf course in the Skirt Mountain area has marred the views from this trail. A housing development is also in the works. :(

There is some minor scrambling up rocks which can be very slippery if wet.
