Marble Meadows Trailhead: (350 km from Saanich Hall, ferry required). Take highway #1 north from Victoria to Nanaimo. Stay on the main road, which becomes BC#19, to Campbell River. Turn onto BC#28 (to Gold River). Follow this until you enter Strathcona Provincial Park. Take the Westmin Resources Road and drive to either Auger Pt or Karst Creek day use areas. Park here and put in your canoe to cross the lake.

Access restrictions:Canoe required to cross Buttle Lake. Beware of submerged stumps in the lake.
