Marble Meadows Trailhead: (350 km from Saanich Hall, ferry required). Take highway #1 north from Victoria to Nanaimo. Stay on the main road, which becomes BC#19, to Campbell River. Turn onto BC#28 (to Gold River). Follow this until you enter Strathcona Provincial Park. Take the Westmin Resources Road and watch for a signed pullout area on the right hand side of the road. Park here and put in your canoe to cross the lake.

Access restrictions:Canoe required to cross Buttle Lake.

Canoe required to cross Buttle Lake. As an alternative to taking your own boat, canoes and/or boats can be rented from Strathcona Park Lodge.
