Lone Tree Hill Trailhead: (18 km from Saanich Hall). Drive west from Victoria on highway 1 to exit 14 (9.7km). Take the exit and head north (right) continue to Millstream Road (signed to Gowland Todd Provincial Park - 15.8km), turn left and continue 2.5 km to the parking lot.

Description
This relatively short trail climbs steeply at times up a hill providing excellent views of Victoria and the surrounding area. In early to mid spring the flowers are abundant, especially near the summit.
Features
This trail features birds (Bald eagle, Red tailed hawk, Turkey vulture), flowers (Blue camas, Broad-leaved shooting star, Chocoate lily, Death camas, Fairy orchid, Seablush, Sedum and White fawn lily), forests and views.
