Lightning Lakes Day Use Area Trailhead: (250 km from Saanich Hall, ferry required). Take BC#17 to Swartz Bay and catch the ferry to Tswassen, continue towards Vancouver turning onto BC#10. Follow this until you come to #1. Head to Hope where you take BC#3 to Manning Park. Just past the lodge turn right and drive to the Lightning Lakes Day Use Area where there is ample parking.

Uses

Backcountry skiing	Easy to moderate.		Best from mid December thru late March.
Dayhike	1 boot (easy to moderate).	2.5 hours for the loop.	Best from late April thru mid November.
