Emerald Lake Trailhead: (800 km from Saanich Hall, ferry required). Drive east from Golden on CA#1 and turn left onto the Emerald Lake Road about 2.6 km west of the town of Field. Drive to the parking lot at the end of this road.
Facilities available at the trailhead include:

From the entrance of the Emerald Lake parking area follow the trail past Hamilton Falls on a steady, steep forested climb.
