Deerholme Trailhead: This is from memory so don't rely on the directions. If you go to this area please take good notes on the access and send them to me to update this site.

Drive north from Victoria on the Trans-Canada highway. Continue on the highway through Mill Bay and on past the light at the Cobble Hill intersection (just beyond this intersection there is a lake on the left side of the road). Keep on the highway to the next light (just past a fire station on your right). Turn left at the light and drive through the rolling country watching for a sign to Glenora/Deerholme. Take this road (I think it is Glenora Road) and drive to the Glenora store (a wonderful place to stop on your way in). Drive past the store staying on the same road. Continue to the end and turn to the left. Drive until you see the forestry gate on the right. (A $2 parking fee is charged.)

Facilities available at the trailhead include:

Uses

Cross-country skiNovice.

Description

The skiing here is on logging roads. Most of the roads I have done have been relatively easy.
