Brandywine Meadows Trailhead: Travel north on Highway 99 to Brandywine Falls Provincial Park. Continue north for 2.7km turning west onto a logging road right beside BC Hydro tower 64.2 (if you cross the Callaghan River bridge you've gone too far). Follow this road for 2km to where it turns to the right and starts to climb steeply. There is a gate at the 3.6km mark. Stay on the main road to the 4.5km mark where you stay on the middle road (Br 10). The sign at this point can be difficult to spot. Passenger vehicles can normally continue a little further, to about 6km from the highway. 4wd vehicles can continue to the trailhead. If you cross a log bridge over a good sized stream you've gone too far.

Description

The trail starts with a steep climb through the forest, passing through logged sections as well. Upon reaching the sub-alpine the grade moderates and then steepens again for the last portion of the route to the meadows which are in a small picturesque hanging valley.

The trail can be very wet, I hiked it after a very dry summer and there was a fair amount of water and mud on the trail even in early September.
