Camp Barnard Trailhead: (40 km from Saanich Hall). From Victoria take highway #1 west to the Colwood exit (highway #14). Take this to Sooke turning right on Otter Point Road (there's a traffic light at the intersection). Drive along this road until you reach Young Lake Road (or follow the signs to Camp Barnard). Drive down Young Lake Road crossing Butler Main and continue into Camp Barnard.

Please note: Camp Barnard is private property owned by Scouts Canada with No Trespassing signs posted at the Young Lake Road entrance that should be observed. Usage of the camp property is quite limited. In order for the Camp Barnard Committee to operate within the guidelines of their organization and the restrictions of their insurers, all users of Camp Barnard must be non-profit, like-minded, youth-oriented organizations. Since Club Tread is an adult organization, it does not fall within these parameters.
